Dr. Eyal Horowitz

Dr. Eyal Horowitz Did Not Start at the Top

At age 9, he was washing cars in his neighborhood. At 11, he was already running a business with employees — kids his own age he hired to help him wash cars.

In school he was defined as a weak student — so much so that his father came every two weeks to make sure he wouldn't be expelled. After the army he was rejected by every academic institution. Only then did he make one decision: to truly study.

He scored 762 on his psychometric exam — but no academic institution agreed to accept him because he had no high school diploma. The only institution that accepted him anyway was the College of Management. He finished his first year with honors. And from there he never stopped.

At age 22.5 he became the youngest senior lecturer in Israel. At 28 he was already a managing partner of a firm with 50 employees. In his early thirties he flew to London with one suit, an A4 page and imperfect English — and was accepted by 5 out of 6 international networks. He chose Baker Tilly. And the rest is not just history — it's a trajectory of global-scale impact.

The Philosophy

There is no separation between the person and the executive, between the personal and the professional. There is no such thing as 'a purely business problem.'

A CEO Who Isn't Sleeping

Because of problems at home will bring that into the boardroom. Someone who avoids an honest conversation in their relationship will also avoid an honest conversation with a partner.

Holistic — Not Pointwise

Dr. Horowitz's mentoring treats the executive as a whole person, because that's where the real decisions are made. That's why executives who work with him report changes that go far beyond business results.

Penetrating Questions

Questions that executives don't ask themselves. Truth that's less comfortable but builds more. The quality of your honesty — at home and in management — is the quality of your decision-making.

Not Theory

Over 25 years in the boardrooms of the largest companies in Israel and worldwide. Managed 30,000 employees in 100 countries — the first Israeli in such a role.

"The quality of your honesty, at home and in management, is the quality of your decision-making. There are no two worlds. There is one nervous system."
